Let's face it.
Great Britain had up to recently a dire reputation for chocolates.
Yet we were the first to emphasise that our chocolates are made in
the UK and to proudly represent fine UK chocolates
abroad. Here is why...
In reverence to our customers
We heavily rely on our customers for our reputation
and our London customers were the first ambassadors of our
products. For that we are eternally grateful!
A source of inspiration
London is an incredibly rich tapestry of foods that
never cease to amaze and inspire us. In London we discovered smoky
black cardamon pods from Indian spice shops, orange blossom honey
from Spanish importers, the best fresh mint used for mint teas in
the small Moroccan cafes hidden behind Notting hill, perfumed and
exotic lumis or sun dried lime imported from Iran.
A revolution
We are proud to have been a catalyst in the
development of fine chocolates in the UK and to be
part of a new generation of food producers who promote quality
and diversity.
Just to annoy the
French, Belgians and Swiss
Each of these countries likes to think of itself as
the best place for chocolates in the world. The Swiss because they
invented milk chocolate and they have more cows than inhabitants.
The Belgians because they boast some of largest chocolate companies
and successfully export everything they would not want to eat. And
the French obviously make superior chocolate because they are
French. We smile quietly at their annoyance when they taste our
chocolates made in London and mutter "C'est pas possible".
