Cacao is one of the few crops that does not require deforestation and is therefore an ideal shelter for wildlife in its humid shaded forests. By importing beans from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms, we are supporting farmers who care for their environment and invest in the well being of their workers. In our atelier in Kent, we conche and refine our Costa Rican beans with a little cane sugar to create a rich, round, almost creamy chocolate. Starting on wood notes, the chocolate opens out to lingering taste of treacle and coffee Costa Rica, literally "rich coast" in spanish is home to over 40 000 species of trees, plants, insects, butterflies, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians. Our commitment to sustainably sourced cocoa for this bar helps to make a small and delicious contribution to the protection of one of the most bio-diverse places on earth. |

We meticulously select our raw ingredients for their flavour and wholesomeness: carefully fermented ground criollo and trinitario beans from chosen regions, pure cocoa butter and cane sugar. We mix, conche and refine each batch in our production in Kent. We make our own chocolate with love, devotion and the sole intent to bring you great chocolate.
