The Rooibos bush grows exclusively in the extremely dry region of Cedarberg in South Africa, grown today as it has been for centuries by the Khoisan tribe. High in antioxidants, with no caffeine and less than half the tannin of black tea, Rooibos is a delicious herbal tea with notes of caramel and red fruits that fits chocolate beautifully. We carefully cut the bush tea before refining and conching it with cocoa beans, sugar and milk powder. This unique step allows a finer flavour of Rooibos to emerge in a luscious bar, perfect for going to sleep with chocolate, caramel and berry dreams.
