Since the 1200s Japan’s highest quality tea leaves have grown in Nishio. Our Matcha comes from only the best hand-picked leaves that are steamed, dried, cut, then slowly ground using traditional granite wheels yielding one ounce of Matcha per wheel per hour. We conche and refine this Matcha powder with sugar, milk powder and cocoa butter, working each batch until the particles of tea and chocolate are intertwined in a steamy affair. This unique method blends the chocolate’s sweetness with the tea’s astringent and fresh notes. Ingredients: cane sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, matcha.
