A walk down the aisles of most supermarkets is enough to put most people off chocolates. All chocolates in mass retail outlets are ambient. In order to keep at ambient temperature for a long time, most centres contain a lot of sugar and vegatable fat. Combined with generally poor quality couverture, the results should really be called confections, not chocolates! Because not everyone has time to come to our shop or order on line, we have selected for Waitrose 10 of our bestsellers that are "naturally" ambient including pralines, fruit coulis, Champagne truffles, mini bars and of course our famous liquid salted caramels. We think these are much much better than any other chocolate boxes available in mass retail and hope to convince Waitrose to add a selection of chilled fresh chocolates too.
