Pairing cocoa beans and chilli is not new. It can be traced back to the nuns of the Order of Santa Clara in 17th century Mexico who invented a riche sauce called Mole made from chillies, spices and cocoa. Our chilli bar blends a rich Colombian dark chocolate with a mild sweet and smoky Ancho chilli and a hint of heat from the Trinidad scorpion pepper. This bar has depth, body and a mild pungency culminating in pleasant heat.
