Known as "The Pearl of the Pacific", Tumaco is a coastal region in the south west of Columbia, bordered by the Pacific Ocean and Ecuador. Planted between 20 and 200 meters above sea level in the middle of humid tropical forests, rare cacao beans grow with exceptional character: vigorous bitter-flavour and a subtle sweetness combined with floral and fruity notes. Our inclusion of single origin cacao nibs gives the ultimate expression to a magnificent dark chocolate.
